I previously posted that I was moving to a new site, but unfortunately my life has become so busy that I do not have the time at the moment to blog. I do hope in the future to be back on here when things calm down and get into a better routine. Until then this is goodbye.
Wishing everyone out there good luck and fortune.

Disney
The long awaited story of my Disney trip.........
Disney was great. I have been there twice before, but this was Munchkin's first trip. He isn't a big ride person, mainly cause he is scared of heights, so we mainly did the shows and stood in line for pictures and autographs for characters. However we did run into a few problems.
To start off with we almost missed our flight. LD's family didn't give themselves enough time to check in and the flight departure time had been moved up. The airport people were nice enough to let us on though. Then of course we sat on the plane for 45 minutes while it gassed up so it didn't even leave on time! Stupid airports.
Then when we got to our hotel the shuttle driver had pulled a wire out of LD's wheelchair, so it wouldn't work. This caused some problem since a 250lb wheelchair with a 250lb man in it are not easy to push. The Disney resort helped us out and got us hooked up with a rental chair and a company that replaced the broken piece. Oh and it was all covered by the bus company since it was their fault.
Once we got over these hurtles we were off to the parks.
Our days at the parks were not nearly as bad as we all expected. LD has a sister-in-law who is a trouble maker and thinks the world revolves around her and her kids, so we were all thinking that we were gonna have problems with her. This year though we all decided to split up and do our own things and then meet up for dinner. This meant that everyone stayed together except sister-in-law, her husband, and 2 kids. This made our days very relaxing and stress free. The heat however did not help. One day the humidity was 100%. Yuck. We spent lots of money on water.
We made special trips to Seaworld and Busch Gardens. The trip to Busch Gardens was made extra special because I had 2 sisters drive up to meet us. One of my sisters lives in Florida, so I don't get to see her that often and the other just happened to be in Florida visiting. It was great for Munchkin to spend this time with them.
After a few days of amusement parks we finally got to go on the Disney Cruise. This was an awesome experience. I hardly saw Munchkin because of the free kid services they offer. It wasn't because I made him stay there, but because he enjoyed it so much. He got to watch movies, watch a magician, play sports and all kinds of other things.
We docked at to ports. One was the Bahamas where we went to Atlantis and viewed the huge aquarium. It was neat, but at $32 a person very expensive. Oh and that cost didn't even get you access to the beach.
The next port was Castaway Cay, Disney's private island. Munchkin and I spent the day at the beach. We had rented snorkeling equipment and did that. It was right off the beach, so it didn't get very deep. The neat part is that we saw a fish that was as big as Munchkin and he is not a little 7 year old. I didn't think we would see anything since it was right where everyone was swimming, but I was wrong. Oh and when you go snorkeling be sure to apply lots of sunscreen to your back. We found out later that night that ours was not sufficient. Ouch.
All in All the trip was very relaxing and fun. I had the most fun on the cruise. It was more of a laid back pace which is how I like my vacations, but when you have a kid you have to do the amusement parks.
*sorry if there are any spelling or grammar mistakes, but I gotta go and didn't proofread.

I am still alive
I just wanted to let everyone know that I am doing fine. Just very busy. I had my last day at work and am unpacking as we speak. I would have posted earlier, but we had dial up and it took 30 minutes just to load a page. However, we just got DSL today. Yeah.
I should have time to give you a post about the move and I will also post about my Disney trip. I may even get time to catch up on what everyone is doing.
Hope all is well.

Disney
I am off to Florida for 10 days. We are visiting Disney and then we get to go on the Disney Cruise. I can't wait. Although I am sure when I get back to work I will be exhausted and need a vacation from my vacation.
I will make sure to try to remember all the stories and maybe I will finally figure out how to put pictures up. LD's family is sure to give me some great posts.

What Do You Say When You Get Hurt?
Munckin: “Do you cry when you cut your fingers?”
Grandpa: “No, but I might curse.”
Munchkin: “What is curse?”
Me: “It means he might say a bad word.”
Munchkin: “Oh. You mean like fudge monkey popsicle?”
I only have myself to thank for that. After all I was the one who let him go to the farm with a bunch of guys. I guess it could be worse. At least they didn't use “actual” curse words.

Free food.........Yum
I had the food and cake tasting this Saturday. I wasn't sure what to expect, but everything was great.
The dinner is going to be yummy. We are having 3 meats, 2 veggies, and 2 starches. When we went for the tasting there were really only 2 things we weren't sure about. The chicken and the side of pasta. We were hesitant on picking a chicken because one had mushrooms and the other was bland. I loved the mushrooms, but we wanted to be sure that people would eat it also and I know a lot of people don't eat mushrooms. We finally decide that if they didn't like it they could pick something else. Plus the kids are getting fries and chicken strips (LD's choice, not mine), so they won't complain.
As for the pasta we had 4 choices; Alfredo, Pasta Con Broccoli, Lasagna, and a Bow Tie pasta with red sauce. I hate Pasta Con Broccoli and the Alfredo was out because LD tends to get sick off of cream sauces. He has a slight touch of lactose intolerance, which means I don't have to worry about him eating any of the ice cream. More for me!!! Ok back to the pasta. We decided that Lasagna is too much of a meal to be a side, but if the Bow Tie pasta sauce was bland then we would do Lasagna. The Bow Tie pasta was very good. The sauce had lots of seasoning in it to give it a good taste. Our choices were made.
After this was done we were off to do the cake tasting. I had decided that my parents and his parents could come to the food tasting, which his parents declined, however I felt strongly that only LD, Munchkin, and I should be present for the cake tasting. This caused a problem since we had to bring the samples home to taste them and both our houses are usually swarming with family. His family had a graduation party Saturday afternoon, so the house was conveniently empty. Munchkin went to the graduation party, so he missed the initial tasting, but he got to finish the samples off later that day.
The two of us have different tastes in food, which can cause problems, but we did end up agreeing on one flavor and then we threw in one that each of our mothers requested and then the traditional white with fruit filling. We figure that the grooms cake can be the chocolate one, since that seems to be the tradition anyhow. Now I just have to have him tell me what he wants it too look like so that I can get that taken care of.
Saturday was a good productive day. I got 2 things down, but I have a ton of things still to do. I can't believe that I have less than 4 months to finish planning this wedding. Time has flown by, so I guess I better get my butt in gear and finish planning.
